The Development Team

At Elfsquad the entire development team is composed of full-stack developers (with emphasis on backend), but that does not mean that everyone does the same thing. On the contrary, every team member has his or her specialization. Our team knows specialists for (among others) DevOps, R&D and innovation and our CSP-solvers. We think it is important that you work on the thing that interests you and that you are passionate about, this way you are at your best and that benefits everyone. 

Of course we work according to processes, but these are not sacred. Perfect results matter, perfect processes do not. If, while coding, you come up with a superior solution, that’s the one we implement. Elfsquad CPQ is world-class if it comes to solving complex CPQ-problems and we have the creativity and critical eye of our developers to thank for it. 

The Technology

Elfsquad CPQ is a platform that consists of several different user applications and APIs. The entire platform is mainly written in .NET and Angular+Typescript. The Elfsquad Management System (EMS) serves as the backend for our users and connects all applications. The Elfsquad Showroom allows our users to offer their complex products to their customers. In addition to that there are Microsoft Word and Excel plug-ins to manage master data and we have multiple connectors on Zapier and the Power Platform of Microsoft.

All of these applications are built on one or more of our fit-for-purpose APIs in our Kubernetes cluster. Among others we have APIs and services for data integrations, document generation and 3D applications. But most importantly we have APIs for our core business: solving complex CSP problems with tens of thousands of variables and an infinite number of configurations. And that’s why we developed two CSP solvers and our own modeling language.

Our product is as smart as our developers. And the bar is high, with our product and our method we want to show the world that CPQ software can be done differently. The software has to be smarter and easier to manage, so that the user can take back control. We make high quality software to do exactly that and we are not afraid to delve into technically complex topics to solve problems the right way. You: 

• Are a team player, but you can also work independently

• Are skilled in a language that compiles directly to machine code (Rust, Go C++)
• Are an expert in Typescript with experience in Angular or React (preferably both)
• Have several years of experience (± 5 years) developing high-quality software
• Are fluent in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing
