Meet Almira Sobacı
A vibrant soul hailing from Turkey, Almira was looking for a fresh start somewhere outside of her comfort zone. While it might be a little colder than she’s accustomed to, she found her new home here in the Netherlands. Two years ago, she made her way to the dynamic world of digital marketing as a key player at Elfsquad. And recently, she was the brains behind launching our totally-new Elfsquad website.
Digital Marketing Expert
In her role as a digital marketer, Almira is the glue that holds Elfsquad's online presence together. She manages advertisements across different platforms, ensures the company website is always updated, and oversees the CRM system. Almira also works on improving the website's visibility on search engines (known as SEO) and finds new leads to help the business grow.
She also collaborates with other departments to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and drive conversions. With a background in computer engineering and a stint in brand management, Almira brings a unique combination of technical expertise and creativity to everything she does.
Headed North
Almira's journey to Elfsquad was a blend of chance and choice. A chance encounter on LinkedIn paved the way for her to join the Squad, where she quickly made her mark. Drawn to the company's energetic culture and innovative spirit, she found herself right at home. Beyond her professional pursuits, Almira finds solace in Friesland's tranquil landscapes. Quite a different vibe from the bustling city where she grew up, she embraces its serene charm and friendly atmosphere. With a move from Groningen to Heerenveen on the horizon, Almira is proud to now call Friesland home.

Outside of the office, Almira finds joy in her love for football. A devoted fan since childhood, she lives and breathes the sport, planning her weekends around match schedules and diving into the excitement of each game. Next stop on her football agenda: SC Heerenveen!
