Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Consultant to support Sales and guide customers through the initial phases of their journey with our CPQ software. In this role, you will dive deep into understanding customer business needs while identifying how Elfsquad fits into their existing IT landscape and drives real value. You will showcase the value of our software, define the implementation scope, outline project phases, and ensure a smooth setup for successful implementation. As the link between the customer, sales, and our customer experience team, you'll blend technical know-how and strategic insights to lay the groundwork for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide customers in the orientation phase through demos and deep dives.
  • Map out requirements, optimal process flows, and application landscapes with integrations.
  • Advise based on best practices to create maximum value with Elfsquad.
  • Translate requirements into a phased for the implementation plan for Elfsquad.
  • Collaborate with different teams to create a consistent customer journey.
  • Provide value substantiation (ROI, pain points, value-based arguments).
  • Act as a bridge between commercial and technical teams.
  • Support customer success initiatives.

What We Require

  • Self-starter who takes initiative to anticipate and address challenges, both internally and externally.
  • Proven experience in consulting, implementation, or similar customer-facing roles, with a focus on IT solutions or CPQ/ERP software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Skilled at assessing and analyzing a customer’s IT environment to pinpoint integration opportunities and challenges, ensuring a smooth and scalable implementation.
  • A solid understanding of customer business challenges and objectives, with the ability to align CPQ solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, adjusting approaches as needed based on customer or business needs.
  • Affinity with the manufacturing industry and ERP/CPQ systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Clear explanation skills, good listening skills, and quick adaptability.
  • Entrepreneurial, curious, and customer-oriented.
  • Technical-commercial mindset (HBO/WO level).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
