QA Engineer

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer looking for more ownership and a bigger impact? Then you might be exactly who we're looking for.

We’re mid-flight on transforming Elfsquad into the world’s smartest CPQ platform - one that lets users build, visualize, and sell custom products directly online, with or without engineers in the loop.

Job Description

As a detail-oriented QA Engineer at Elfsquad you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our SaaS platform. As part of our engineering team, you will collaborate with developers, product managers, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality software that meets the complex needs of manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and API-based applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate functionality, performance, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites to improve regression coverage and release confidence.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data integrity standards, especially for manufacturing data workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and best practices.

What We Require

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance within a SaaS environment (manufacturing or industrial domain a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with APIs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency with AI tools and technologies, and the ability to leverage AI in testing, automation, and process optimization.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of ERP/MES or other manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience testing enterprise-level SaaS applications with complex data workflows.

  • Growth & development: career acceleration opportunities, supported by tools, training, and coaching
  • Impact & ownership: take on real responsibility, directly contributing to the digital transformation of manufacturing
