Training Specialist

Job description 

As a Training Specialist, you will own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our onboarding and training initiatives. You’ll work closely with implementation, support, and product teams to ensure customers are well-equipped to achieve value quickly. Your role is critical in minimizing friction, increasing user adoption. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a pre‑implementation training program that prepares customers for onboarding
  • Deliver engaging live or virtual training sessions, tailored to diverse audiences and learning styles
  • Arrange and coordinate the practical aspects of the training, including hotel bookings and meals
  • Create, update, and maintain supporting training materials (guides, videos, walkthroughs, documentation)
  • Collect feedback from training participants and stakeholders; use insights to iterate and improve content for clarity, relevance, and impact
  • Coordinate with implementation teams to schedule and align training timing and content
  • Monitor training effectiveness through metrics (attendance, satisfaction, knowledge retention)
  • Advocate for best practices in onboarding and user enablement across internal teams
  • Identify knowledge gaps and propose new training or enablement initiatives proactively

What We Require 

  • Proven experience in training, enablement or related roles (ideally in a SaaS environment)
  • Excellent facilitation skills, ability to deliver engaging sessions in person or virtually
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills to produce clear, compelling content
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and act on feedback and performance data
  • Willingness to travel on occasion for trainings abroad
  • Proactive, growth mindset: you identify opportunities and drive improvements
  • Fluency in English and Dutch (German is a plus), both spoken and written
