Under the hood, our logic engine is evolving, and now, AI is part of that transformation. As a Senior Back-end Developer, you won’t just be writing performant APIs. You’ll help architect the core logic that powers configuration intelligence and supports AI-driven automation.

Think smart rule resolution, guided selling, dynamic pricing, and optimization at scale. This isn’t a typical back-end job. It’s about logic, AI, and architecture coming together to shape how global manufacturers operate digitally.

If you're a senior back-end dev who wants more than another REST API, welcome home. You’ll architect the core of a highly modular CPQ platform that adapts to global use cases. You’ll also work alongside a fast-moving product squad that learns quickly and avoids unnecessary meetings. This isn’t just about writing performant code — it’s about solving puzzles that most devs will never encounter.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and build scalable, modular logic engines that drive dynamic configuration workflows
• Implement and maintain complex rule systems — dependencies, constraints, pricing models
• Integrate machine learning outputs directly into configuration, pricing, and optimization processes
• Develop performant APIs that handle deeply nested models, used by internal teams and external partners
• Explore use cases like AI-powered suggestion engines, auto-complete logic trees, and dynamic feature resolution

Finally

• .NET Core (C#) — the heart of our application
• Azure SQL / Redis — data management and high-speed access
• Event-driven architecture — for a clean, modular system
• AI/ML models (integrated via APIs) — for predictive logic, guided configuration, and more

You:

• Are skilled in a language that compiles directly to machine code (Rust, Go C++)
• Are an expert in Typescript with experience in Angular or React (preferably both)
• Have several years of experience (± 5 years) developing high-quality software
• Are fluent in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience integrating AI models (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, or in-house ML models) into real products
• Built systems that learn and evolve from user data
• Dealt with logic complexity far beyond REST endpoints — and loved it
• Designed platforms that scale with customer-level customization
