About Cibes Lift Group
Cibes Lift Group designs and manufactures vertical platform lifts for residential and commercial use, sold through a global network of direct sales teams and distributors. Their products are configurable by nature, with many variants, regional requirements, and customer-specific specifications. That customer specificity is their competitive advantage. But as they grew, it became increasingly difficult to manage.
The Challenge
Cibes had a configuration and quoting process that could not keep up with the demand. Configuring a product took between 10 and 25 minutes. Every update or change to the system required external consultants, which meant waiting sometimes weeks or even months before anything could be adjusted. Sales teams and distributors were slowed down at every step.
This is a pattern we see often in manufacturing. What starts as a competitive advantage, offering customer-specific solutions across a global dealer network, becomes harder to manage as the business scales. The systems were never built for it. Processes that once worked start to break. Margins come under pressure. Flexibility decreases. Not because the business model is wrong, but because the tools cannot keep up.
For Cibes, the bottleneck was clear: too much dependency on consultants, too little control in their own hands.
The Solution
Cibes implemented Elfsquad CPQ to take back control of their configuration and quoting process. The goal was straightforward: faster quotes, fewer errors, and a system their own team could manage and update without outside help.
Elfsquad gave their internal team the tools to build, adjust, and maintain their configuration logic independently. Updates that previously took months now happen without consultant involvement. The integration with Monitor ERP allows Cibes to automatically generate the necessary production documents and receive real-time order status updates, connecting sales directly to production without manual handoffs.
