Financial Controller

Function description

We are looking for a financial controller to run all our finances. You will be the first fully-focussed financial hire in the company, and be responsible for a range of exciting tasks. You will report directly to the CEO, who has been doing most of this work to date. This role will suit someone who wants to learn a great deal and take on a lot of responsibility, and someone who wants to work in a rapidly growing global SaaS technology company as we expand.

This opportunity requires an individual with high attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and an enthusiastic attitude.

• Working with sales teams to determine future revenue and pipeline
• Participate and take lead in internal projects that increase scalability. E.g. automate billing and payments
• Management accounting of churn and other exciting SaaS metrics
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, international subsidiaries, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

You:

• Have an academic thinking- and working level
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a field relevant to the position’s requirements. SaaS revenue experience is a plus
• Are capable of interpreting complex information and requirements and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
• Collaborative team player, goal oriented, thrives in fast-paced SaaS Tech Startup
• SaaS Academy is a plus
