Elfsquad’s Product Configurator reacts to manufacturing businesses’ wish to progress forward with a Configure to Order solution. In other words: a new way to compose a customer order through a series of variations, options and accessories. “The end customer is able to intuitively compose a product without a lot of foreknowledge, by exercising a modular approach. This user friendliness is supported additionally by information lines and a graphic interface using 3D renders. Technical product knowledge is made understandable for salespeople, dealers and end customers. This results in a minimal chance of error in quotations and production orders, even for those who produce complicated machines and installations.”, Elfsquad’s Wessel de Haan states.

This cooperation is fruitful for both companies. “Configure to Order is a way for businesses to remove a lot of worries from the pre-production process”, Barend Vercauteren from ESC states. “What makes the software special is the fact that not only the customer can utilize it, but salespeople and suppliers too. Moreover, the software integrates with a plethora of ERP-solutions, such as NAV, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and both Exact Globe and Exact Online. With ESC distributing and supporting these ERP-solutions.”

ESC not only sees the cooperation as a relief for its existing customers. The increasing demand for an easy-to-use product configurator from the Flemish market had to be answered. “Our software serves as a competitive headstart for many Belgian manufacturing businesses. Partners are essential in this process, and choosing ESC was a no-brainer.”, de Haan explains.
