JASA Packing Solutions is an international producer and supplier of complete weighing- and packaging lines. And in Elfsquad they found the product configurator they had been looking for for ages. JASA saw a noticeable shift in customer demand: “Our customers are asking for more and more functionalities within the weighing- and packaging machines.”, Marleen Bakker explains (Design Engineer, Jasa Packaging Solutions).
To cover this customer demand JASA first tried to develop a configurator themselves. “That we needed a configurator was obvious, but the complexity in developing one turned out being too big and time-consuming.”
Leapforce helped JASA Packing Solutions compare different potential parties. And was closely involved in implementation. Elfsquad turned out as the best fit: “The product knowledge had to be stored into an application, as the different functionalities kept on growing. Not only to take the complexity away from sales, but also to find consistency in educating new employees. Since within Elfsquad it is always clear to see what is possible and what is not.”, Bakker says.
But this is not where JASA’s possibilities end: “We are working on implementing our product offer. And after internal use by salespeople we mean to roll out the project to dealers.”
